Powerlifting is a competitive strength sport consisting of 3 lifts: Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. Athletes compete in divisions separated by gender, age and bodyweight. Each competitor is given 3 attempts in each lift, with their best lift in each discipline being added together for their Total.


In addition to the competitive side of the sport, powerlifting training has many health benefits as well. With proper technique and programming, you will achieve improved strength, muscle mass, athletic ability, mental toughness, fat loss and even bone health. Strength training is good for people of all ages. We currently have athletes ranging from ages 7-69 in our programs. So it’s never too early or too late to get started!
